We’ve been working hard to make Headliner the best way to promote your podcast. These new animated waveforms should help you stand out across social media. There are three circular waveforms to help you get the perfect style video for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and anywhere else videos live. You can place your waveforms over video, images, and gifs. You can also adjust the waveform’s color and transparency.
If you’ve read up on any of our split tests you’d see how important the waveform is in driving engagement for your posts on social media. In fact, posts with waveforms perform way better than posts with just a single image link. How much better you ask? In our tests, anywhere from three to six times! Put into perspective, if your standard image post drives 100 listeners to your episode page, posting an audiogram with an animated waveform to that same episode, could drive 300 to 600 (or more) visits to your podcast page, not a bad lift for a few minutes of work.
Using waveforms are a great way to catch people’s attention when they are scrolling through their feeds, but don’t forget to add captions too, as the vast majority of people scroll through social media with their sound off.
The circular waveforms we added to Headliner can be used in many ways. One of the most popular uses is to outline the podcast host or guest’s image. You can make the waveforms big or small, pair with a progress bar, or keep it simple over your choosing background color. No matter what you do, make sure to use a waveform in your podcast promo videos.
